Gluten-Free Waffles Recipe

This gluten free waffle recipe is easy to make and delicious! They are perfect for a weekend brunch or family breakfast. Start off by gathering the ingredients:

-1 cup all-purpose gluten free flour
-2 teaspoons baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
-1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1 tablespoon maple syrup as sweetener
-2 eggs
-3/4 cup milk of your choice

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, eggs, vanilla, maple syrup and milk until they are well blended. Mix together wet ingredients & dry ingredients. Double ingredients for more servings.

To make waffles, start by heating your waffle iron and coating it with cooking spray. Then, pour around ¾ to 1 cup of the batter onto the plate of the waffle maker and close it. Cook the waffles for about 5 minutes or until steam stops escaping (most waffle makers come with a light that indicates when they are done). Keep in mind that waffle makers come in various shapes and sizes, so the amount of batter required may vary.

Remove the waffle using a fork or tongs, then top with your favorite fruit, butter and/or syrup, and enjoy!
